The present invention relates to a method for a credit card settlement, capable of preventing leakage of personal information by checking an electronic signature authentication process by having a card settlement terminal at a member store connected to a user′s personal mobile terminal when charged on a card by using the card settlement terminal, and to a service apparatus using the same. The method for a card settlement may include the steps of: transmitting a message including estimated payment history to a card owner′s mobile terminal when a card authorization service apparatus receives a payment request in response to the use of the card from the card settlement terminal at the member store; receiving signature data with a signature authentication request with respect to the estimated payment history from the mobile terminal; determining the effectiveness of the signature data received from the mobile terminal based on previously saved data; and informing signature authorization information to the mobile terminal and authorizing the transaction to the card settlement terminal when the signature data is effective according to the determined result, and informing signature authorization cancelation information to the mobile terminal and cancelling the transaction to the card settlement terminal at the same time when the signature data is ineffective. |
