FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to veterinary science and concerns managing body mass of a domestic animal, in particular of cats and dogs. The presented versions of the method involve pre-measuring a lean body mass or body fat taking into account selected physical data of the domestic animal and the parameters calculated by specific equations.
