A novel golf game device includes a field simulating a green, a cup provided in the field, a putting position designating section which designates, to a player, a putting position on the field from where the player hits a ball, a storage section which stores dominant hand information about a dominant hand of the player, and a control section which determines a dominant hand of the player on the basis of the dominant hand information, determines a putting position on the field in accordance with the player's dominant hand, and performs control such that the putting position designating section designates the determined putting position to the player. |
