PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to suppress generation of a false color or a moire fringe up to a high spatial frequency regardless of F number or an incident position of an incident light bundle.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: an optical low-pass filter 14 for forming a plurality of point images by separating one incident beam; and an image sensor 15 for photo-electrically converting an optical image formed by light transmitting the optical low-pass filter. The optical low-pass filter forms a plurality of point image distributions that satisfy a condition of 0.4<2×&sgr;/P<0.9 when a pixel pitch of the image sensor is denoted as P and the standard deviation is denoted as &sgr;. |
