<p>The invention relates to a device (1) for producing filter elements, the filter bodies (11) of which consist of a folded strip-shaped filter material (4). Folds (14) of the filter body (11) have a functional structure embossed into the filter material (4), said functional structure comprising spacer elements for spacing adjacent folds (14). The device (1) has at least one cylindrical embossing roller (3), the outer circumference (6) of which has a functional embossing structure designed as the negative of the functional structure in order to emboss the functional structure into the filter material (4). In order to simplify the production process, the functional embossing structure is formed on an embossing plate (18) which is separate from the embossing roller (3) and which is secured to the outer circumference (6) of the embossing roller (3).</p> |
