The present invention provides a method for controlling a power conversion apparatus capable of resolving instability in a VL control system caused by load variation of a power-conversion device. The voltage (VL) of a reactor is detected. On the basis of the reactor voltage, a correction is made and a second voltage control rate command (ks *) is generated so that a first voltage control rate command (ks**) is increased as the high-frequency component of the direct-current voltage increases, the first voltage control rate command (ks**) representing the ratio of the amplitude of alternating-current voltage to the average value of direct-current voltage, and that the first voltage control rate command (ks**) is reduced as the amplitude of the alternating current output from the power-conversion device increases. A switching signal generated on the basis of the second voltage control rate command (ks*) is applied to the power-conversion device. |
