A method for treating folate receptor-alpha-positive lung cancer in a subject in need of treatment of the cancer, comprises administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of an antibody that specifically binds folate receptor-alpha, wherein the antibody is produced by cells having American Type Culture Collection accession number PTA-7552.
