PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a technique capable of reducing the predictive computing processing load of a camera-shake signal in electronic camera-shake correction performed at the time of capturing a moving image.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes shake detection means for detecting the shake amount of the apparatus, shake correction amount computing means for calculating a shake correction amount on the basis of the shake amount, estimating computing means for computing the estimation value of the shake correction amount by using the previously calculated shake correction amount, correction means for cutting out an image, to correct an image blur by using the shake correction amount or the estimation value of the shake correction amount, and determination means for determining whether or not the estimation value of the shake correction amount is computed in accordance with a frame rate when photographing a video. |
