This invention relates to animal husbandry, and more particularly to toilets for domestic pets, in particular cats, and is intended for collecting solid and liquid waste from indoor cats. A cat toilet with a vertical entrance comprises a housing and an entrance hole for allowing a cat to access the interior space of the toilet. The housing is in the form of a hollow vertical cylinder with closed walls and top and bottom horizontal parts. The entrance hole is provided in the top horizontal part of the housing.
