The invention relates to a component of a wind turbine (1) comprising at least one bearing assembly (2) by means of which a rotor (3) is mounted to be rotatable relative to a housing (4), wherein the bearing assembly comprises at least one roller bearing (5), wherein the roller bearing (5) has at least one first bearing ring (6) connected to the rotor (3) and at least one second bearing ring (7) connected to the housing (4), wherein rolling elements (8) are arranged between the bearing rings (6, 7), wherein the first bearing ring (6) connected to the rotor (3) has a cylindrical bearing surface (9) by means of which the first bearing ring sits on a cylindrical section of the rotor (3). To prevent susceptibility or the bearing ring to the formation of cracks, the invention provides that the cylindrical bearing surface (9) of the bearing ring (6) connected to the rotor (3) is generated by a honing process as final machining production process, wherein a ring element (13) is arranged between a face (10) of the first bearing ring (6) and a face (11) of a platform (12) of the rotor (3) designed for axial attachment, which ring element consists of a material which has a lower stiffness than the material of the first bearing ring (6) and of the rotor (3). |
