Provided is a technique, when applying a thermochromic ink on a wrapping member for wrapping the outer circumferential surface of a cigarette, for limiting color change of the thermochromic ink before smoking while promoting color change of the thermochromic ink during smoking and which is able to increase the degree of freedom with respect to where the thermochromic ink is applied. The present invention is a cigarette provided with a tobacco rod comprising cut tobacco and a filter connected to the back end of the tobacco rod. The cigarette is also provided with a hollow cavity section formed in a portion of the filter and a heat-sensing color-changing section which is formed on at least a portion of a wrapping member for wrapping the outer circumferential surfaces of the tobacco rod and the filter and which is obtained by applying thermochromic ink on the outer surface of said wrapping member. The heat-sensing color-changing section is disposed at a position corresponding to the cavity section or closer to the front end of the cigarette than said cavity section in the longitudinal direction of the cigarette. |
