A signal transmission method and apparatus are involved. The signal transmission method comprises: performing, by a base station, rate matching of unicast signals according to a multicast/broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN) reference signal (MBSFN RS); and sending, by the base station, the unicast signals to a user equipment (UE). By using the signal transmission method and apparatus, the resource utilization rate can be increased and the continuity and effectiveness of broadcast and multicast-related measurement performed by a UE are guaranteed. |
