PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably display guidance information about guide points in front of the guide point, and contribute to reduction in communication charges by stopping use of telematics communication for each guide.SOLUTION: When a self-vehicle is predicted to come close to a guide point, a traffic information acquisition unit 53 receives an FM multiplex broadcasting from a second traffic information center 4 to store traffic information. A guide illustration preparation unit 54 reads simple graphic data of the guide point from map data storage means at timing when the self-vehicle passes a guide illustration preparation start point, reads the traffic information stored in the traffic information storage unit, and prepares a display guide illustration from the read simple graphic data and traffic information. A display control unit 55 causes a display device 9 to display the display guide illustration. |
