PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler which suppresses a boiler body from becoming a state of not holding sufficient heat quantity in pressure holding control, and which can achieve high load follow-up responsiveness.SOLUTION: A boiler 20 includes: a boiler body 21 having a can body 211 for generating steam from boiler water by burning a fuel, and a temperature detection part 231 for detecting the temperature of the boiler water; and a local control part 22 for controlling a combustion state of the boiler body 21. The local control part 22 includes a pressure holding control part 221 which brings the boiler body 21 into a pressure holding state in which pressure of steam inside the can body 211 is held to be equal to or greater than a first setting pressure. The pressure holding control part 221 starts combustion in the case where the temperature of the boiler water detected by the temperature detection part 231 becomes below a first saturation temperature corresponding to the first setting temperature by a predetermined value or greater. |
