The present invention pertains to a content output device, and addresses the technological problem of providing a device to/from which a medium having graphics, a photograph, or text printed thereon can be attached/removed. A medium (e.g., (20)) on which graphics, a photograph, or text are printed, and a content output device (e.g., a sound reproduction device (30)) configured from a medium identification means for specifying at least the medium, a storage medium for recording content, and an output means for outputting the content recorded in the storage means, the content output device being attachable to/removable from the medium, wherein the content output device is characterized in that: the content is stored in correlation with the medium and with each page of the medium; the content output device is provided with an overlapping part in which, in a state in which the medium is mounted in place, the content output device and the medium at least partially overlap each other; the medium, when mounted in place, is specified by the medium identification means; and the corresponding content recorded in the storage means is outputted by the output means. |
