Provided are a motion sensor module and a system for monitoring the status of a communication line using the same (a system for monitoring the status of a communication cable). The motion sensor module includes a motion sensor which is installed on the messenger wire of a communication line or a line intelligence control box, and detects a motion in multi directions based on an installation position; a data processing part which transmit a detection signal to the outside when a motion is detected in the motion sensor, and receives the detection signal from the outside; and a control part which determines the generation of the event of the communication line according to a time difference between a point of transmitting the detection signal and a point of receiving the detection signal from the outside.
