PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent data which have been written already, from being overwritten in the case where an HDD is vibrated by receiving impact from the outside.SOLUTION: An information recording apparatus configured to record data in a magnetic storage medium includes: write means for recording data on the magnetic storage medium; vibration detection means for detecting vibrations applied to the magnetic storage medium; storage means which stores data for correction for repairing data which are damaged in off-track write generated by vibrating the magnetic storage medium; and magnetic storage medium control means which controls the write means so as to write the data for correction at a predetermined position of the magnetic storage medium in the case where a direction of the vibrations detected by the vibration detection means is a predetermined direction.
