PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer that, when directly connecting with a terminal device with wireless communication, realizes communication connection for limiting the terminal device from which a packet is received.SOLUTION: A printer that wirelessly communicates with a terminal device cancels a received packet when determining that the printer is a group owner and that the packet is a relay packet. Further, when determining that the printer is not a group owner and that the packet is not a relay packet, the printer performs a control of whether the packet is cancelled or processed according to the additional determination of whether or not any one of terminal devices that require connection is a terminal device associated with specific connection information.
