PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a processing time for determining a target area in a second image similar to a reference area in a first image.SOLUTION: The reference area in the first image and a corresponding area in the second image are overlapped to generate composite image data. A first determination part for determining whether a candidate area for the corresponding area is similar to the reference area by using a value showing the brightness of a pixel, and a second determination part for determining whether the candidate area is similar to the reference area by using a value about at least one between the saturation and the hue of the pixel are provided. When the first determination part determines that the first candidate area is similar to the reference area, the second determination part determines whether both areas are similar, and when the second determination part determines that they are similar, the first candidate area is determined to be a corresponding area. When the first determination part does not determine that they are similar, the second determination part does not determine whether both areas are similar, and the first determination part determines whether the second candidate area is similar to the reference area. |
