PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an optical system that offers a wide view angle, compactness, and high optical performance; an image capturing device having the same; and a manufacturing method for such an optical system.SOLUTION: An optical system comprises a front group having negative refractive power and a rear group, arranged in order from the object side along an optical axis, where the front group includes, in order from the object side along the optical axis, a first negative lens, a second negative lens, a positive lens, and a cemented lens comprising a plurality of lenses cemented together and where the rear group includes, in order from the object side along the optical axis, a positive lens and a negative lens. The optical system satisfies a predetermined condition. |
