A base station (102) comprises a UL/DL configuration control unit that determines whether any UE (111, 112) currently performing communications in the cell #B is existent and that, if no UE (111, 112) currently performing communications is existent, changes the current UL/DL configuration of the uplink and downlink for another UL/DL configuration that suppresses interferences with an adjacent cell #A. The UL/DL configuration control unit notifies UE (112), which is in a standby state in the cell #B, of the change of the UL/DL configurations and thereafter changes the UL/DL configurations. |
