<p>Abstract Disclosed is a managed mobile device system comprising: a management system, where the management system is arranged to communicate with: i) a plurality of managed mobile devices via a cellular network, and ii) an administration device via a management network; a configuration database in communication with the management system arranged to receive and store: i) configuration data for configuring the plurality of managed mobile devices from the administrator device, and ii) end-user internet plan data from the each of the plurality of managed mobile devices; wherein the management system is arranged to configure each of the plurality of managed mobile devices in accordance with the configuration data; and wherein each of the plurality of managed mobile devices is arranged to provide internet access to an end user upon determining that a corresponding active internet plan exists.
