摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably track a multiple joint object while a calculation cost is suppressed.SOLUTION: A multiple joint object tracking device receives designation of an initial posture, an action type and a clothing type of a multiple joint object, and creates a plurality of tentative postures to the initial posture. Then, the device repeats: processing of acquiring image feature quantity from a video frame constituting video data created by capturing the multiple joint object by each video frame in time order; processing of calculating feature quantity of each of the tentative postures by a tentative shape in which a human body shape model is deformed based on the tentative posture and the clothing type; processing of comparing feature quantity of the tentative posture and image feature quantity of the video frame and calculating the weight of each tentative posture; processing of estimating a posture from the plurality of tentative postures on the basis of the calculated weight; processing of selecting a plurality of tentative postures near the estimated posture out of the plurality of tentative posture on the basis of the calculated weight; and processing of creating a tentative posture at the next time by using dynamics corresponding to the action type from the selected plurality of tentative postures.
