WATER QUALITY SENSOR AND COOLING SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality sensor and a cooling system including the same capable of determining generation of corrosion and formation of scale.SOLUTION: The water quality sensor includes: a detection electrode that has a low temperature side detection electrode which is disposed at the upstream side of a heat exchange part in a circuit and a high temperature side detection electrode disposed at the downstream side of the heat exchange part; a counter electrode which is disposed at a preset distance from the detection electrode; an AC power source that applies an AC voltage with variable frequency across the low temperature side detection electrode or the high temperature side detection electrode and the counter electrode; and a control section that determines generation of corrosion in the circuit and scale formation in the circuit based on impedance value between the detection electrode and the counter electrode.
