ENGINE MISFIRE WRONG SENSING PREVENTING APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREOF

An embodiment of a device for preventing engine misfire from wrongly being sensed comprises: a misfire sensing unit for sensing whether misfire of an engine cylinder occurs; an ignition timing control unit for sensing ignition timing of an engine if engine knock is sensed; and a main control unit for sensing delay time of ignition timing and stopping operation of the misfire sensing unit if the delay time of the ignition timing is out of a set value, wherein the main control unit is electrically connected to the misfire sensing unit and the ignition timing control unit, thereby preventing excessively delayed ignition from being wrongly sensed as misfire in ignition timing delay control of the engine.
