[Class 132 (ii).] The projector for a table game comprises a frame having a sprung pivoted striking member withdrawn for operation by a finger, after which the frame is brought towards the missile to engage the latter, the lower end of which has a weighted member to raise the missile sufficiently for correct engagement with the frame the top of the missile being provided with feathers or drags. The projector comprises a wire 4 bent as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the striking member 6 being pivoted about the rod 5 and adapted to be withdrawn by a finger-piece 7 in opposition to a spring 8, the forward movement of the member 6 being limited by the finger-piece 7 abutting against the rod 9. In operation, the member 6 is withdrawn and applied at the bottom of the missile 10 which is made of celluloid or other light material and has a heavy metal button 11 and feathers, paper strips or sails 12. A shuttlecock or other suitable missile may be used. A rubber band 13 may be fitted instead of, or in addition to, the propelling spring 8. |
