An air conditioning system A1 includes an air conditioner, having an outdoor machine and an indoor machine incorporated in a refrigeration cycle, and a radiant heat exchanger, having a heating element, including and arranged from piping through which a refrigerant passes, and having the respective piping making up the heating element connected to a piping connecting the outdoor machine and the indoor machine and passing the refrigerant, the radiant heat exchanger has rectifier plates that are vertically disposed with gaps, through which air passes, provided with respect to the heating element at the front surface side and rear surface side of the heating element, and each rectifier plate has a plurality of radiant heat passing pores.

An air conditioning system comprising: an air conditioner having a refrigerant circuit, in which a compressor, an expansion valve, a flow path switching valve, an indoor side heat exchanger, and an outdoor side heat exchanger are connected by piping to circulate a refrigerant to perform a refrigeration cycle, and supplying air, which has undergone heat exchange with the refrigerant at the indoor side heat exchanger, to an indoor space by a fan; a radiant heat exchanger having a heating element incorporated in the refrigerant circuit of the air conditioner; rectifying plates sandwiching the heating element of the radiant heat exchanger in between and each covering a surface of the heating element across a gap provided with respect to the surface, having the inner surface arranged as a reflecting surface that reflects the radiant heat radiated from the heating element, having a radiant heat passing portion penetrating through the inner and outer surfaces and allowing passage of radiant heat and air, and promoting air convection by a chimney effect, and an operation mode switching means by which switching to a single operation mode among the respective operation modes of a first operation mode of putting the air conditioner and the radiant heat exchanger in operation, a second operation mode of putting only the air conditioner in operation, and a third operation mode of putting only the radiant heat exchanger in operation is performed automatically or manually; and wherein the operation mode switching means is one selected from the group consisting of: the operation mode switching means that includes a first piping connecting the expansion valve and the indoor side heat exchanger, a first valve that the first piping has in its course, a second piping connecting the flow path switching valve and the indoor side heat exchanger, a second valve that the second piping has in its course, a third piping having one end side connected to the second piping and the other end side connected to one end side of the piping of the heating element of the radiant heat exchanger, a third valve that the third piping has in its course, a fourth piping having one end side connected to the other end side of the piping of the heating element of the radiant heat exchanger and the other end side connected to the second piping at a position closer to the flow path switching valve than the second valve, a fourth valve that the fourth piping has in its course, a fifth piping having one end side connected to the second piping at a position closer to the flow path switching valve than the second valve and the other end side connected to the first piping at a position closer to the expansion valve than the first valve, a fifth valve that the fifth piping has in its course, and a sixth valve that the second piping has in a course between the connection portions to the fourth piping and the third piping, the operation mode switching means that includes a first piping connecting the expansion valve and the indoor side heat exchanger, a second piping connecting the flow path switching valve and the indoor side heat exchanger, a third piping having one end side connected to the second piping and the other end side connected to one end side of the piping of the heating element of the radiant heat exchanger, a fourth piping having one end side connected to the other end side of the piping of the heating element of the radiant heat exchanger and the other end side connected to the second piping at a position closer to the indoor side heat exchanger than the connection portion to the third piping, a fifth piping having one end side connected to the second piping at a position near the connection portion to the fourth piping and the other end side connected to the first piping, a valve that the fifth piping has in its course, and a valve that the second piping has in its course between the connection portions to the fourth piping and the third piping, with one of either of the first piping and the second piping having a valve in its course and one of either of the third piping and the fourth piping having a valve in its course, the operation mode switching means that includes a first piping connecting the expansion valve and the indoor side heat exchanger, a second piping connecting the flow path switching valve and the indoor side heat exchanger, a third piping having one end side connected to the second piping and the other end side connected to one end side of the piping of the heating element of the radiant heat exchanger, a fourth piping having one end side connected to the other end side of the piping of the heating element of the radiant heat exchanger and the other end side connected to the second piping at a position closer to the indoor side heat exchanger than the connection portion to the third piping, a fifth piping having one end side connected to the second piping at a position near the connection portion to the fourth piping and the other end side connected to the first piping, a valve that the fifth piping has in its course, and a valve that the second piping has in its course between the connection portions to the fourth piping and the third piping, with one of either of the first piping and the second piping having a valve in its course and one of either of the third piping and the fourth piping having a valve in its course, the operation mode switching means that includes a first piping connecting the expansion valve and the indoor side heat exchanger, a second piping connecting the flow path switching valve and the indoor side heat exchanger, a third piping having one end side connected branchingly to the second piping and the other end side connected to one end side of the piping of the heating element of the radiant heat exchanger, a fourth piping having one end side connected to the other end side of the piping of the heating element of the radiant heat exchanger and the other end side connected branchingly to the second piping, and a valve that the second piping has in its course between the connection portion to the third piping and the connection portion to the fourth piping, with the length of the course that is the sum of the third piping, the piping of the heating element, and the fourth piping being formed to be longer than the length of the course between the connection portion to the third piping and the connection portion to the fourth piping, and the operation mode switching means that includes a first piping connecting the expansion valve and the indoor side heat exchanger, a second piping connecting the flow path switching valve and the indoor side heat exchanger, a third piping having one end side connected to the second piping and the other end side connected to one end side of the piping of the heating element of the radiant heat exchanger, a fourth piping having one end side connected to the other end side of the piping of the heating element of the radiant heat exchanger and the other end side connected to the second piping, and a valve that the second piping has in its course between the connection portion to the third piping and the connection portion to the fourth piping, with either or both of the third piping and the fourth piping having a valve in the course or courses thereof.
