The invention relates to a spur gear transmission with at least two toothed spur gears (1, 2), the toothings of which mesh with each other and each of which can be rotated about a rotational axis (3, 4), comprising: - an enveloping wall (5) which surrounds the two spur gears in the circumferential direction and in the direction of the rotational axes; wherein - the enveloping wall has an inner contour which is adapted to the outer diameters of the spur gears such that two annular gaps (6, 7) which transition into each other are produced between the enveloping wall and the spur gears, each annular gap being arranged at least substantially concentrically to a rotational axis; - the enveloping wall surrounds the two spur gears in the circumferential direction only over a part of the circumference of the spur gears such that a part of the outer circumference of the two spur gears or at least one of the two spur gears protrudes outwards out of the enveloping wall. The spur gear transmission according to the invention is characterized in that the part of the two spur gears or of the one spur gear, said part protruding out of the enveloping wall, is positioned on the lower face of the spur gears. |
