An array substrate and manufacturing method thereof, and a touch control display apparatus, the array substrate comprising: a common electrode layer (102), said common electrode layer (102) comprising touch control drive electrodes (104), said touch control drive electrodes (104) being connected to a signal connection terminal, said signal connection terminal outputting a common power level during display phases, and being in a high resistance state during touch control phases; a pixel electrode layer (103), said pixel electrode layer (103) comprising pixel electrodes (106) and touch control sensor electrodes (105), every touch control sensor electrode (105) being formed between two adjacent rows of pixel electrodes (106); the touch control sensor electrodes (105) and the touch control drive electrodes (104) are arranged in the form of a cross. Using the present array substrate to manufacture a touch control display apparatus can effectively reduce the production costs of a touch screen, improving production efficiency.
