PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl chloride resin composition which can suppress discoloration of an insulation layer or a sheath even when containing a basic hydrate, e.g. aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide, and an insulated wire and a cable using it.SOLUTION: An insulated wire 10 has, on the outer periphery of a conductor 1, an insulation layer 2 composed of a vinyl chloride resin composition which contains a total amount of 1-5 pts. mass of a fatty acid metal salt, a cyanuric acid derivative or an isocyanuric acid derivative and stearoyl benzoyl methane to 100 pts. mass of a base polymer containing a vinyl chloride resin, in a mass ratio of stearoyl benzoyl methane to the cyanuric or isocyanuric acid derivative, or stearoyl benzoyl methane/cyanuric or isocyanuric acid derivative, of 0.4-15. |
