PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR cooler tester configured to quantize clogging of an EGR cooler with a simple method, in a cleaning operation of the EGR cooler after use, and a testing method.SOLUTION: An EGR cooler tester includes: pressure means 1 for supplying compressed air to an EGR cooler 6; a flow meter 4 which measures a flow rate of the air supplied from the pressure means 1 to the EGR cooler 6; and a pressure gauge 7 which measures pressure of the air supplied from the pressure means 1 to the EGR cooler 6. The EGR cooler tester tests clogging of the EGR cooler 6, on the basis of a value of the flow meter 4 or the pressure gauge 7. |
