摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a SCARA robot being capable of increasing a stroke amount of a movable shaft while suppressing vibration generated in the movable shaft.SOLUTION: A robot comprises: a base 2; a first arm 4 rotatably provided via a first connection section 3 on the base 2; a second arm 6 rotatably provided via a second connection section 5 to the first arm 4; and a movable shaft section 7 being provided to the second arm 6 and being movable with respect to the second arm 6. When a movable range of the movable shaft section 7 is represented by S and a height between a leading end of an opposite side of the movable shaft section 7 to the first arm 4 when the movable shaft section 7 is moved to a position closest to a first arm 4 side with respect to the second arm 6 and a first connection surface being a connection surface of the base 2 and the first connection section 3 is represented by H, S and Hsatisfy a relation of H≤3S.
