PORTABLE HIGH-FREQUENCY GROUND WAVE RADAR FOR SURVEYING OCEAN DYNAMICS PARAMETERS

A portable high-frequency ground wave radar for surveying ocean dynamics parameters such as wind field, flow field and wave field of the ocean, comprising a fiberglass reinforced plastic hermetic transmitting antenna (1), a hermetic crossed-loop receiving antenna (2), a low-energy transmitter (3) connected to the transmitting antenna (1), a receiver (4) connected to the crossed-loop receiving antenna (2), and a wind/solar complementary power supply system (5); the receiver (4) comprises an embedded computer; and the wind/solar complementary power supply system (5) is connected to the transmitter (3) and the receiver (4) respectively. The portable high-frequency ground wave radar solves such problems as high manufacturing costs, large size, large size of radar targets, being easy to damage, and difficulty of finding ideal installation sites for an array radar, as well as further improves capabilities of protecting against lightning and typhoon.
