A device for protecting a blast furnace wall and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a device for protecting a blast furnace wall comprises: a stave installed inside a blast furnace wall for inhibiting heat inside a blast furnace from being transferred to the blast furnace wall; a protective refractory material formed on the inner surface of the stave; a coupling member installed between the stave and the protective refractory material for fixing the protective refractory material on the stave; and an anchor plate interposed between at least one pair of adjacent coupling members.
