摘要 The presented invention relates to the gene knockouts of the Pichia pastoris PMT2 gene in the och1-glycoengineered strain backgrounds to obtain recombinant proteins reduced amounts of O-linked glycosylation. Triple mutant, pmt2, pmt5, och1 strains are also part of the present invention. Method for making such strains and for producing heterologous polypeptides in such strains are also included in the present invention.
