The console (400) includes a console fixture (401) and a locator (402) affixed to the console fixture (401). The master component (100) is within the console fixture (401) and in contact with the locator (402). The master component (100) includes a feature (120) machined into the master component (100). The modified machining station (412) includes a housing (415) and an instrumented tool (200) coupled to the housing (415). The instrumented tool (200) includes a tool shaft (210) and a sensor (220) attached to the tool shaft (210).
