A method for manufacturing a transparent display device includes the steps of: preparing a display panel including multiple pixels having first substrates and second substrates which face each other and liquid crystal layers arranged between the first substrates and the second substrates; providing a first voltage having frequency lower than predetermined reference frequency to the liquid crystal layers; driving liquid crystal molecules of the liquid crystal layers into positive liquid crystal by the first voltage; providing a second voltage having frequency higher than the reference frequency to the liquid crystal layer; driving the liquid crystal molecules of the liquid crystal layers into negative crystal by the second voltage; and pre-tilting the liquid crystal molecules, driven into the negative liquid crystal, in a predetermined direction by irradiating the display panel with UV rays. |
