PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold without decreasing clarity and brightness as characteristics of a sheet as much as possible by suppressing the occurrence of air accumulation when softening a sheet by heating.SOLUTION: A thermoforming device includes a lower frame 2 having a storage area of a base material 10 to be an object of thermoforming, and a hot plate 3 capable of bringing an outer peripheral edge of a heating surface 3b into contact with a frame upper edge part 2a of the lower frame 2, and performs hot plate heating of arranging a sheet 4 between the frame upper edge part 2a of the lower frame 2 and the outer peripheral edge of the hot plate 3, and thermally forming the sheet 4 to adhere to the base material 10. The thermoforming device 1 is so formed that the hot plate 3 is provided with a hot plate side vent hole 32 opened on a position near the outer peripheral edge of a heating surface 3b, and there is included a fixed space S between the sheet 4 and the heating surface 3b before absorption of the sheet 4 to the heating surface 3b. |
