PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which a large-diameter barrel or a large-sized imaging device unit is accommodated in a relatively small-sized housing.SOLUTION: The housing of the imaging apparatus includes: a front case that forms at least a front face of the housing and with which a barrel arrangement hole is formed; and a rear case which is bonded with the front case and forms a part of the housing of the imaging apparatus. A barrel including a lens mechanism is formed from: a barrel body in which the lens mechanism is provided; a front barrel including a front barrel end portion of which the diameter is shorter than that of the barrel body; and a rear barrel including an imaging device unit mounting part. The front barrel is mounted to the front case in the state where the front barrel end portion passes from a front side of the front case through the barrel arrangement hole. The rear barrel is attached from a back side of the front case to the front barrel end portion passing through the barrel arrangement hole. |
