A reciprocating tool with a reduced number of components is provided. The jigsaw (11), which utilizes the motive force of an electric motor to cause a saw blade (32) to move back and forth in a direction along an axis line (C1), has: a housing (12) for accommodating the electric motor; a guide member (40) that is fixed to the housing (12) and disposed along the axis line (C1); a connector member (33) that clamps the guide member (40) and moves back and forth when the motive force of the electric motor is transmitted thereto; and a plunger (31) that is attached to the connector member (33) and holds the saw blade (32). |
