The present invention relates to a an apparatus for processing an edge of a glass substrate and a method using same, the apparatus for processing edges of a glass substrate comprising: a heating member unit; heating member unit supports; and a glass substrate support, wherein the heating member supports and/or the glass sheet support are movably provided so that a cut portion of the glass substrate, which is fixed to the heating member unit and the glass substrate support, can be brought into contact sequentially. The heating member unit and the heating member unit supports are connected by pressure members, wherein at least two of the pressure members are provided on side surfaces of the heating member unit, and one end of each of the pressure members is fixed to a point on a side surface of the heating member unit where the sum of force, with respect to a perpendicular central axis of the heating member unit, equals zero, according to the number of the pressure members, and the other end of each of the pressure members is fixed to the heating member unit supports, wherein the heating member unit is pressed so as to be brought into contact with the edge of the glass substrate, and wherein the pressure members are means for generating pressure in a direction which erects the heating member upright as a reaction to pressure generated by the pressing. |
