This technology pertains to an information-processing device, an information processing method, and a program that make it possible to present advertisements to users effectively. An advertisement to present to a user is selected by an advertisement selection unit on the basis of predicted reactions of said user to various advertisements, said predicted reactions being predicted using parameters for which updating is skipped in accordance with first probabilities each based on the following: a learning sample based on the content of an advertisement presented to a user and a result indicating the reaction of said user to said advertisement; and the parameter to be updated using said learning sample. A presentation control unit controls the presentation of the selected advertisement. This technology can be applied, for example, to a server that provides an advertisement service. |
