BACKLIGHT MODULE, DISPLAY APPARATUS, AND DRIVING METHOD THEREFOR

A backlight module (10), a display apparatus and a driving method therefor, which solve the technical problem that a color break-up phenomenon occurs on an existing FSC liquid crystal display. The backlight module (10) comprises a controller (13) and a plurality of partition backlights (2). Each partition backlight (2) comprises at least two independently driven light sources (2R, 2B) with different colors. The controller (13) controls the turning-on time of the light sources with different colors in each partition backlight (2). The backlight module can be used in liquid crystal display televisions, liquid crystal displays, mobile phones, tablet computers and other display apparatuses.
