PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display objects by composition similar to the one assumed by a game creator without increasing pieces of data on a position and a photographing direction of a virtual camera even when sizes of the objects to be displayed are different from each other.SOLUTION: Difference &Dgr;L=L'-L between height L' of a player character PC and height L of a reference character is added to a height component of position coordinates of a virtual camera C as a correction value. In addition, correction according to the difference &Dgr;L is performed so that a photographing direction of the virtual camera C turns to the head of an enemy character EC. When the height of the player character PC is higher (refer to a selected figure (b)), &Dgr;L (>0) is added to the height component, and the virtual camera C is arranged at an upper part by &Dgr;L rather than a reference camera position shown by broken lines. The photographing direction of the virtual camera C is corrected so as to turn to the head of the enemy character EC. Thus, an image by composition similar to that in the case of the reference character (refer to a selected figure (a)) is photographed. |
