PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of presenting useful guide information to a user without affecting an imaging operation of the user.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 includes: an imaging section 102 for imaging an object to acquire an image relating to the object;a switching section 104 for switching between an imaging mode in which the image acquired by the imaging section 102 is used for recording and a guide information retrieval mode in which the image acquired by the imaging section is used for retrieving the guide information; a recording section 106 for recording the image acquired by the imaging section 102 under the imaging mode; an image recognition section 108 for recognizing feature information from the image acquired by the imaging section 102 under the guide information retrieval mode; and a retrieval section 110 for retrieving the guide information from the recognized feature information. |
