Disclosed is an image sensor having a pixel structure including visible light detection pixels and ultraviolet ray or infrared ray detection pixels arranged together. For example, the image sensor may comprise a pixel array including a plurality of first pixels and a plurality of second pixels having different sizes, wherein horizontal and vertical direction widths of the first pixels may be an integer multiple of horizontal and vertical direction widths of the second pixels, respectively. An image sensor according to the disclosed embodiment can enable an effective arrangement of ultraviolet ray or infrared ray detection pixels, which have different sizes from those of visible light detection pixels, together with the visible light detection pixels on the same substrate.
