PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic power generation device which assures stable high power generation efficiency.SOLUTION: The hydraulic power generation device comprises: a rotating body 1 having a hollow cylindrical shape, and provided with a dog-leg shaped concave groove 3 having a bent portion oriented in a rotation direction on a cylindrical surface thereof, and configured to rotate around an axis by receiving a water flow f; and a main body 2 having a tip end 4 oriented toward the upstream side of the water flow f, and having a width reduced in a direction perpendicular to the water flow f as reaching the upstream side, a housing recess 5 formed in a lower surface and for rotatably housing the rotating body 1, and a discharge hole 9 formed at the downstream side of the housing recess 5, and for discharging the water flown near the housing recess 5 to the downstream side. The main body 2 is anchored at a predetermined location in the water flow f while maintaining a state of floating on a water surface. The posture of the main body 2 is maintained by orienting the main body 2 toward the upstream side by the tip end 4, and discharging the water used for the rotation of the rotating body 1 from the discharge holes 9, thus enabling stable generation of electricity. |
