In a vessel (131), a substance to be detected (500) is caused to combine with fluorescent magnetic particles (400) having a fluorescent substance. When the liquid in the vessel (131) is discharged, the first composite (450) obtained by the combining is affixed to the inner wall of the vessel (131) by a magnet (137). Supplying a cleaning liquid to the vessel (131), affixing the first composite (450) by the magnet (137), and discharging the liquid are repeated to remove impurities from the raw sample liquid. A sample liquid thus obtained is affixed to the metal film of an analytical chip (10) for surface plasmon-enhanced fluorescence spectroscopy (SPFS) and subjected to SPFS. |
