The present invention relates to a solar cell, and a manufacturing method thereof. The solar cell comprises: a substrate; a rear contact electrode layer formed on the substrate; a light absorbing layer formed on the rear contact electrode layer; a buffer layer formed on the light absorbing layer by atomic layer deposition; and a hybrid front contact electrode layer including a first front contact electrode layer formed by atomic layer deposition, and a second front contact electrode layer formed by sputtering on the buffer layer.
