1. A pellet comprising:
a polymeric blend comprising a propylene impact copolymer, a polylactic acid, and an epoxy functionalized polyolefin, wherein the epoxy functionalized polyolefin is epoxy functionalized polypropylene or epoxy functionalized polyethylene, wherein the polylactic acid and the epoxy functionalized polyolefin are premixed before being compounded with the propylene impact copolymer, and wherein the polymeric blend has polylactic acid phases encapsulated inside rubber phases in a polypropylene matrix.
